Our story

  • A Kid from Yucatan

    It all began in a small town in Yucatán. As a kid, my first glimpse of the ocean felt like love at first sight. The fresh breeze, vibrant colors, and abundant marine life captured my heart in an instant—I was hooked.

  • From Dreams to Reality

    We started with just two sets of snorkeling gear and pockets full of dreams. But we had boundless inspiration from Yemaya, the ocean goddess, guiding us. With determination, we set out to build something truly special.

  • The Birth of Mexidivers

    What began as a humble idea started taking shape. Mexidivers grew into a haven for ocean lovers and adventurers, drawn to explore the beauty beneath the waves. Our passion was the driving force behind the shop’s growth, transforming it into a thriving community.

  • Challenges and Triumphs

    Of course, it wasn't all smooth sailing. We encountered financial challenges, bureaucratic red tape, and unexpected setbacks. But through perseverance and teamwork, we faced each obstacle and came out stronger on the other side.

  • A Family Legacy

    As Mexidivers grew, it became more than just a business—it became a legacy. Every dive, every new experience strengthened our bonds. Our community became like family, sharing our love for the ocean and cenotes with everyone who joined us. Whether by blood or shared passion, they became part of our story.

From our Founder…

In my welcome to the Riviera Maya, life took me down various paths. I explored different avenues until, at the age of 30, I decided to leave it all behind and surrender myself to the Caribbean Sea. Alongside Santos and Chanok, family members who shared my passion, we embarked on a journey to found Mexidivers in the heart of Tulum Beach

As the sun sets on another day in paradise, we are reminded of the endless possibilities that lie beneath the waves. Mexidivers will forever be a beacon of light for those who seek adventure, connection, and the timeless beauty of the ocean. Our doors are always open, welcoming all who wish to join our family and answer the ocean’s call.
